“I don't know why so many people are hating on reviews but in my experience, he was absolutely great, right at the level of Sir Majid. He taught really well. People say that he only thought linked lists well which is so strange because if they actually understood the subject they would realize that like 80% of the entire course uses Linked lists as a base with some modifications (like for example a binary tree is just like a linked lists node but with a left and right pointers that's it). He always does fair marking in quizzes (so if you do wrong obviously you won't get marks). He lets the assignments to be checked by his TA he won't check them. His assignments are genuinely long, but that's a blessing in disguise because if you do them yourself with understanding, you would have already prepared yourself for quizzes and exams. Overall, the experience has been great and I hope more teachers are like him who have a genuine passion of teaching.”

I take help from ai to practice codes, and make logic so it can be similar to the chatgpt code but that doesn't mean I cheated in the quiz... He was so unfair in marking and doesn't even teach well just give basic idea... Tbh I feel like he just hate genz or us idk but he was so critical everyday...”

“Lectures contained no substance relevant to the course but rather the guy loves talking about the same thing repeatedly about clerical and non-clerical jobs and what not. Marking is done by his TA named Sabghat something who will annihilate your grades just for the fun of it. Sabghat also runs the lab and teaches advanced stuff that you haven't reached in the theory lectures because Inayat does not teach you anything anyway other than linked lists. Also when you come from Java taught in PF and OOP, the whole CS dept has this that you jump to a whole new language C++. These guys will not let you adjust to C++ at all and start forcing you to code in it all of a sudden. Also the workload is insane, cause you have to do gigantic assignments with very little time to submit them only to get 0 marks cuz Sabghat is just a generally unpleasant and sad human being.”

“Awful, Awful teacher. Dreadful experience. Doesn't know anything beyond basic linked list stuff. Tries to act clever by giving questions with stupid constraints in quizzes and exams. But when anyone solves the question with an approach he did not expect, he gives low marks with ******** reasons. Assignments & quizzes both poorly made. Assigned Sabghat as lab teacher and he is even worse (though he at least gives marks in projects and is tolerable in my experience). I'd advise to stay away from this guy”
