What Belongs in a Review
Focus on course delivery and academic evaluation
Describe how clearly concepts were explained, slide quality, and whether lectures added value beyond the recommended textbook.
Share details on quiz frequency, midterm/terminal exam difficulty, and whether exam questions were aligned with class lectures.
Explain if the marking scheme was transparent, how assignments were scored, and whether paper rechecks were accommodated.
Comment on whether the professor was available during scheduled office hours and approachable when answering student queries.
Strictly Prohibited
Violations lead to instant automated deletion
Insults, foul language, racial/ethnic slurs, or harassment targeting a professor or teaching assistant are strictly banned.
Remarks regarding physical appearance, clothing, marital status, religion, or personal lifestyle are completely prohibited.
Allegations of illegal activity, bribery, or financial corruption cannot be verified by CUIRank and will be deleted.
Phone numbers, WhatsApp screenshots, private email addresses, or residential details must never be posted.
Protect your own privacy! Never include your roll number, full name, section, or semester in review text.

Constructive Critical Feedback

Why: Critical yet respectful. Gives future students actionable study advice without personal insults.
Unhelpful Vague Comment
“Worst teacher ever, hates everyone, should be fired. Never take this course.”
Why: Contains pure hostility with zero actionable insight regarding course administration, exams, or teaching.
Personal Attack / Doxxing
“Arrogant person, dresses terribly, lives in F-10. Call his personal number 0300-XXXXXXX to complain.”
Why: Severe violation: Doxxing, commentary on personal appearance, and sharing private contact details.

Are my reviews truly 100% anonymous?
Yes. CUIRank does not require student accounts or email registration. We store non-reversible cryptographic hashes of network signatures purely to prevent duplicate spamming.
How long does it take for a review to appear?
Most reviews pass our real-time AI moderation filter instantly and publish within seconds. If flagged for manual inspection, a student moderator will review it within 24 hours.
Can a professor request to remove a review?
Professors can report reviews that break our guidelines (e.g. personal insults or private data). Constructive academic feedback—whether positive or critical—will remain published.
What should I do if I see a fake or inappropriate review?
Click the Report button on the bottom of the review card and state the reason. Our moderation team evaluates every report promptly within 24 to 48 hours.
